FAQ’s

  • No — and we are clear about that. Everything we offer is designed to complement your existing care, not replace it. Many clients use our services alongside physical therapy, rheumatology, pain management, or other treatment. We recommend keeping your medical team informed.

  • Very different. TENS units deliver electrical current to block pain signals at the surface. PEMF delivers pulsed electromagnetic fields that pass through the body and interact with cells at a biological level — supporting repair rather than just blocking sensation. The mechanisms and depth of action are distinct.

  • PEMF and some other electromagnetic modalities are contraindicated for pacemakers and certain implanted devices. Please inform us before booking — there are modalities (Red Light, sound therapy, bioenergetic analysis) that are safe, and we'll design your protocol accordingly.

  • It depends on the condition, its chronicity, and your body's response. For most chronic pain presentations we suggest an initial 6–8 week protocol with weekly sessions, followed by a reassessment. The Bioenergetic Analysis at the start gives us a measurable baseline to track against.

  • Yes — particularly for PEMF and red light therapy, which have peer-reviewed literature supporting their use for pain, inflammation, bone healing, and tissue repair. The quality of evidence varies by condition and modality. We're transparent about what is well-established and what is more exploratory. We'll always tell you the truth about what we know.

  • Good — you should be. We're skeptical too, which is why we measure everything. Your HRV scan at the beginning gives us objective data. Your Bioenergetic Analysis is repeatable. We'll show you the change, not just describe it.
