What We Offer

Vanessa Block spent twenty years studying Ayurvedic medicine — one of the oldest systems of women's health in the world. She is a mother of five, a former corporate leader, and a woman who has navigated the particular exhaustion that comes from putting everyone else's needs first for years.

She built the women's health program at The Sound Mind & Body Studio from that experience — and from the understanding that the female body is not a smaller version of a male body. It has its own rhythms, its own constitutional needs, and its own language. And when that language goes unheard by conventional medicine, women suffer unnecessarily.

Ayurveda identifies each person's unique constitutional type — the balance of energies that governs digestion, hormone production, emotional response, and vitality. When that constitution is out of balance, the symptoms look exactly like what many women are told is 'normal': fatigue, hormonal fluctuation, weight changes, mood instability, and a pervasive sense of depletion.

  • Not at all. While hormonal transitions are a common reason women come to us, the services here benefit women at every life stage — from burnout in your thirties to postpartum recovery to optimizing health in your sixties and beyond.

  • Yes. Everything we offer is non-invasive and designed to complement, not replace, any medical treatment you're receiving. Many clients use these services in parallel with HRT, antidepressants, or other care. Always inform your prescribing physician of any wellness practices you add

  • 'Normal range' on a lab panel reflects population averages — not what is optimal for your specific body and constitution. Bioenergetic analysis looks at energetic patterns and stress responses that standard labs don't measure. Many of our clients have their experience validated for the first time at their first Qest4 session.

  • Because most interventions work on symptoms individually. What we offer is a systems view — understanding how your hormones, nervous system, gut health, and emotional load are interacting with each other. Often it's the intersection of several systems, not any single one, that drives how you feel.

  • Most clients notice a meaningful shift within two to four sessions. Full hormonal and nervous system recalibration is typically a 6–8 week process. The Bioenergetic Analysis at the beginning gives us a baseline so progress is measurable, not just felt.

  • Yes. All coaching and wellness strategy sessions are one-on-one with Vanessa. Technology-based sessions (HRV, InHarmony, Red Light) are guided by either Brian or Vanessa.
